LTP Labs
Rapid Validation in the Age of AI:
From Prototype to Evidence
Value for you
- A focused deep dive into one important product challenge
- Hands-on learning guided by experienced practitioners
- Practical space to test, apply and refine new approaches
Key learnings you'll get
- Why AI makes validation more important, not less
- How to separate "Can we build it?" from "Should we build it?"
- How to identify the riskiest assumption and turn it into an observable hypothesis
- How to choose a small, authentic Pretotyping method and define the pass/fail threshold before launch
- How to use AI to accelerate experiment design and asset creation — without mistaking synthetic feedback for real customer evidence
About the Lab
Rapid Validation in the Age of AI:
From Prototype to Evidence
AI has made it dramatically faster to turn an idea into a convincing prototype. It has not made it easier to know whether anyone actually wants the product. In fact, polished AI output can create false confidence — pushing teams to build before they have any real evidence.
In this practical 90-minute Lab, participants will bring a real product or AI idea and work it through a rapid validation process. They'll identify the riskiest assumption behind their idea, turn it into an observable behavioural hypothesis, choose the smallest Pretotyping experiment that can test it, and set a clear success threshold before collecting any data.
This session isn't about generating more ideas — it's about knowing which ideas deserve investment.
You'll leave with:
- A clearly defined behavioural experiment for a real idea of yours — including the target customer, the observable action you're testing for, a success threshold, and a test you can run within seven days.
About the Speaker
Leslie Barry — Founder and CEO, Exponentially
Leslie Barry is the founder of Exponentially and a practitioner and pioneer of Pretotyping and rapid experimentation. A guest lecturer at Stanford University, he has worked with Alberto Savoia — who created Pretotyping at Google — since 2016 to bring the method to Australia and the Asia Pacific region.
Leslie has led experimentation programs across financial services, utilities, wagering, and other regulated industries. His work has tested more than 4,000 ideas, generated $38 million in value, and saved $30 million by stopping weak ideas before they were built. He has trained more than 1,000 Pretotypers and embedded AI into Rapidly, Exponentially's platform for evidence-based innovation.
